Exit planning helps business owners strengthen the value of their company, align their personal and financial goals, and prepare for a transition on their own terms.

For many business owners, 70 to 80% of their net worth is tied to the business. It’s their life’s work, their income, and their legacy. Yet nearly 75% report “profound regret” after exiting (Exit Planning Institute®).
Only 32% have a documented exit plan, and just 22% have aligned their business, personal, and financial goals before stepping away.
Waiting limits options. Intentional planning creates them.
At Harvest, exit planning is integrated financial planning for business owners. Our structured, practical process connects business value, personal goals, and financial readiness to give owners clarity and control.
Our work often includes the following:
Understanding what your business is worth today and what drives transferable value.
Identifying practical steps that can increase value and reduce risk over time.
Customized investment strategies anchored by a disciplined policy and tactical asset allocation to keep your portfolio aligned with evolving goals.
We collaborate with your CPA, attorney, consultants, and other advisors to ensure strategy is aligned and executed thoughtfully.
At key decision points (grow, transition, sell, recapitalize, or hold) we help you evaluate options through both a business and personal lens.

Exit planning touches every dimension of a business owner’s life. That’s why it belongs inside a comprehensive financial planning relationship.
When you work with Harvest, you gain:
We connect business strategy with personal financial planning.
Our advice is centered on your long-term interests, not on a transaction.
Major transitions can feel emotional and complex. We help you move forward deliberately.
Whether you exit in three years or fifteen, we are here to steward your wealth, your goals, and your legacy.

Even if an exit feels distant, the strongest transitions begin early.
If you want clarity on your business’s value, how to strengthen it, and how it supports your broader financial life, we’d welcome the conversation.
